Marc Verter is a pianist, song accompanist and vocal coach. A passionate song performer, he dedicates much of his time to performing with singers in the UK and abroad. Marc was the Artistic Director of the Chelsea Schubert Festival for more than five years.
Marc has played for such internationally renowned singers as Yvonne Kenny, Jonathan Lemalu, Nelly Miricioiu, Kate Royal, Sarah Walker and Chen Reiss.
Alongside his performing work Marc is a highly sought after vocal coach and repetiteur. He is currently on the staff of the Vocal Department at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and West London University.
Previous opera engagements have included Aix en Provence festival, Opera pa Skeret programme in Sweden and the Dartington festival in the UK. He has performed at music festivals in Israel, North America and Europe.
Marc has been engaged by the National Portrait Gallery, University Women’s Club and the Chelsea Arts Club to curate soirees and salons.
Marc leads workshops with college students on the performance of French song and has developed and curated a salon concert series (Le Salon Musical) recreating the glamour of 19th century European musical soirees.
Marc’s recordings include a recital with soprano Ilona Domnich (Quartz), Robert Franz lieder (MPR), Piano pieces by Tamara Konstantin (Naxos) and songs by holocaust survivor and reemerging composer Mieczyslaw Weinberg with bass-baritone Mark Glanville (Challenge – release expected 2023).

Daniel Turner is a very versatile portfolio musician. Alongside his career as a professional tenor he is also in demand as a choral conductor, organist and singing teacher.
Daniel began his musical life as a chorister in Northampton and studied with Simon Johnson (formerly Organist of St Paul’s Cathedral). This fantastic start, within the state system and a volunteer church choir has shaped Daniel’s outlook and influences and enthuses his music making with all ages and abilities.
Daniel studied for a degree in Music at The Queen’s College Oxford where he was Organ Scholar. At Oxford Daniel re-discovered his love of singing and studied with the tenor James Gilchrist. During this time he began to sing regularly with the Choir of New College under Edward Higginbottom.
Daniel continues his organ studies to this day and has even played the organ for a production of Semele at La Scala, Milan for Sir John Eliot Gardiner.
Daniel has sung in many of the UK’s leading professional choirs and as a solo singer. After Oxford Daniel studied singing at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has studied with David Pollard, Janice Chapman, Nelly Miricioiu, Jack Livigni, Sarah Walker and many other leading vocal pedagogues.
Daniel founded The Barnes Music Festival in 2013. Daniel is currently active as a musical teacher and outreach/engagement worker with choirs in Pimlico, Choral Courses in the UK and China. He works alongside Ralph Allwood in bringing the best of English choral music to children aged 7-11 in the Pimlico Musical Foundation. Daniel has taught music and singing in many contexts including at Harrow School. Daniel is currently on the staff of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama as a choral conductor.
Daniel has devised musical soirées and salons alongside Marc Verter for many prestigious venues including a programme on Handel with countertenor James Bowman for Chiswick House and various other Salons for The Chelsea Arts Club, National Portrait Gallery and The University Women’s Club. Daniel is a founding director of Le Salon Musical.
